Marlow law firm Moorcrofts’ corporate, commercial property and employment teams have advised Big Sky Partnership on the strategic purchase of the business of ProVision Studios, comprising two photographic studios, adding to their portfolio of unique spaces for premium content creation.

Formed in 2004, Big Sky Studios has built its reputation for excellence in the creative industry as central London’s largest full-service studios with the hard work and enthusiasm of an experienced team. The team already offers a knowledgeable, in-house approach, providing a range of photographic and moving images services ranging from set-building and studio bookings to catering and post-production.

Big Sky has now acquired ProVision Studios, including the leasehold for a unique photographic space, located under Victorian railway arches and packed with original features. The team is now refurbishing the space preparing for a launch of the new studio in September.

Moorcrofts’ head of corporate Teri Hunter led the deal with support from Kate Prentis and Georgia Slater (corporate) Ian Hylton and Anita Johnson (property).

Hunter said: “It has been a pleasure working with Big Sky Studios on this transaction. The management team are personable, knowledgeable and professional, and I am sure this new venture will be a huge success. I look forward to seeing their progression over the coming months and years.”

Managing director of Big Sky, Roger Cummings, said: “Teri Hunter and her team took the initiative on this transaction and displayed a commercial approach to bringing this complex matter to a close. There were a number of interested parties which required careful handling and Teri was proactive and collaborative, bringing all the elements together to achieve completion.”
