Comedian Lucy Porter has been confirmed as the host of The Business Magazine - 2022 South Coast Tech Awards.

The Spectrum IT sponsored gala event is returning in person for the first-time post pandemic on June 23 at the Hilton at the Ageas.

Lucy Porter will be hosting the awards which celebrate the phenomenal scientific and technical developments spearheaded right here along the South Coast. Ms. Porter will no doubt be riffing on all those innovations, which are made locally and then utilised from the bottom of the ocean to the farthest reaches of space.

A regular guest on Live at the Apollo, Would I Lie to You, QI, Mock The Week and Richard Osman's House of Games, Lucy is also a regular on BBC Radio 4 staples such as The News Quiz and The Now Show. She is a highly in demand stand-up comedian who, according to Time Out, “is one of the most talented comics on the circuit."

If you wish to be in the audience for the South Coast Tech Awards, or to nominate your company in one of sixteen categories, visit here.

Nomination forms are available online, the process is free and can be completed in a few minutes. Can your company afford to miss out on this celebration of excellence. Nominate now before Friday's deadline.
