Lorraine Lee rises to role of CEO at flexible working focused company Capital Space

South East-focused flexible working space company Capital Space Ltd revealed that Lorraine Lee has been appointed to a newly formed position of CEO.

The company currently operates nine business centres across Essex, Kent, Buckinghamshire and South London and is a leading business accommodation provider for SMEs.

It has more than 700 offices, studios and workshops and has plans to expand into Hertfordshire.
Peter Boam, who started the business in 1997, said: "We are delighted that Lorraine has achieved the position of chief executive.

"Having worked in the operations and customer facing side of the business for almost 20 years, she brings an in-depth knowledge, understanding and appreciation for the challenges our customers face as well first-hand knowledge of what it takes to run successful business centres."

Boam said that in 1997 the company had set out to "encourage people to start and to grow new businesses by eliminating most of the onerous obligations and costs involved with traditional commercial leases".

"We have grown steadily and plan to continue, with Lorraine’s’ guidance and support, to develop more opportunities for people who wish to start or to grow their businesses," he added.

Lorraine has risen from centre manager to CEO at the company over the past 20 years.

She said: "I am delighted to be part of the upward trajectory of the business and to help shape its future alongside the management team.

"Over the past 25 years, our customers have taken advantage of our flexible space and monthly licence to expand, downsize and or change the type of space to cater to their changing needs.
