The firm's managing partner Matthew Barrow, who himself completed a training contract at the firm, said: "I am delighted to welcome our new trainees to the firm.

"I look forward to watching them develop as lawyers in their time with us and to see what the future will hold for them. We are incredibly proud of our trainee scheme; we see our trainee solicitors as future leaders of the business," he added.

The trainees takes a six-monthly 'seat' in various departments across Lester Aldridge's three offices as part of the programme and work with various clients, from large, high-profile corporates to high net-worth individuals.

In June this year, it was reported that Lester Aldridge was advising Southampton University in its role as leader of a new AI consortium called Responsible AI UK.

It comes after the consortium was granted £31 million as part of UK Research and Innovation's plans to 'bring academic and industry partners together'.

People can apply for 2026 training contracts with Lester Aldridge between January 1, 2024 to April 30 next year. See HERE for more.
