Gate also previously worked for the Government Legal Department as a commercial property lawyer working in-house for the Ministry of Defence in Bristol.
Before that, she was a legal adviser at telecoms company Orange, negotiating leases for the infrastructure roll-out of what are now EE masts.
"We’re really excited to welcome Helen to our growing team," said Justin Hopkins, a partner and head of Mogers Drewett’s commercial property team.
"She has tremendous property experience in both the public and private sectors and unrivalled knowledge of the telecoms sector. I’m sure her expertise will be in great demand among our many commercial clients."
In the new role, Gate will advise on a range of issues, including landlord and tenant matters with a view to expanding her caseload to acquisitions, disposals and pension transactions.
