Law firm Womble Bond Dickinson announce a number of senior Southampton promotions

Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD), a global legal firm, has announced several senior advancements in Southampton, including the hiring of three new managing associates and one new associate.

James Macmillan and Amie Kelsall in real estate, together with Amy Prime in dispute resolution, have all been promoted to managing associate. Jenny Gibbs, a lawyer specialising in conflict resolution, has been promoted to associate.

WBD, one of the top 20 law firms in the UK, has a sizable office in Southampton.

The appointments are one of a number of promotions issued across WBD's UK offices. The three new Southampton-based partners were among 28 promotions and 13 partner and legal director advancements announced by the company.

Paul Stewart is the law firm's UK Managing Partner. He said the following about the appointments: "We want our people to enjoy long and successful careers with us and we work hard to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to develop, grow and be rewarded for their success."
