Accountants, business and tax advisers Kreston Reeves has been appointed administrators to Oxford-based motorsport concierge and driver experience company Valluga Group.
Carrie James, a Partner in the Restructuring team at Kreston Reeves was appointed joint administrator on 25 October and is currently looking for a buyer of the business and its assets.
The Silverstone-based Valluga Group provides a fully bespoke service for motorsport drivers, track days and motor racing tours. Valluga’s services include race car care and performance, driver coaching, race transport and storage.
Its race car fleet includes a Mercedes C190 GT3, Porsche 982 CS, Porsche 991.2 GT3 and BMW M4 track car. Its drivers have had considerable success including Porsche Sprint Challenge Champions 2022 and 2021, GTCup Champions GT4 2022, BritishGT category wins in GT4, and Porsche Carrera Cup Podiums.
The company employs six people and has a turnover (year ending September 2021) of £2.65m.
Carrie James said: “Valluga Group has a successful track record in providing motor sport driver support, allowing them to simply turn up and race. The results its drivers have achieved speaks of the service and support provided. It is, however, a hugely competitive market and following appointment as administrators we are currently seeking a buyer for the business or its assets."
