Simpsons’ Wine Estate, a winery based in Kent, has reportedly expanded its sales in Scandinavia.
From March 8 this year, its Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine called 'White Cliffs' will launch in Swedish retail, it was reported.

For the company, exports now make up 45% of its turnover, with Norway being a main contributor.
Reportedly, the country accounts for 63% of the winery's total exports and more than a quarter of its overall sales.
"Our team has just returned from a very successful trip to Denmark and Sweden, pouring wines with our importer and at two WineGB events for members of the wine trade and for consumers," Charles Simpson, co-founder of Simpsons’ Wine Estate was quoted as saying.
"We’re delighted to see such a thirst for English wine in these markets and it was a brilliant experience to be there with other English wineries showcasing the diversity of English wine that is now available."
According to trade body WineGB, for the English and Welsh wine sector as a whole, exports in 2023 accounted for just 7% of total revenue.
Simpsons’ is set to be one of 12 English producers exhibiting at ProWein at the WineGB stand this week.
