Jargon PR, a small international PR agency, has announced that it has achieved the ‘We Invest in Wellbeing’ Silver accreditation by Investors in People. The accreditation is an acknowledgment that Jargon PR has fostered a culture that encourages wellbeing, and identifies a roadmap for continued improvement over the next few years.

Getting silver means that Jargon PR has the right wellbeing principles in place, and that the agency has developed a good wellbeing strategy that is supported by its entire team. Over the last 10 months, Jargon PR has worked with Investors in People and implemented a wellbeing strategy, with clearly defined wellbeing values, and communicated this to the entire team.

The agency has also introduced bi-weekly wellbeing surveys in the form of anonymous questionnaires which are filled out by the team. This provides a safe space to share feedback and allows Jargon PR to listen to employee ideas and track the impact of its wellbeing strategy.

Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate Jargon PR. Silver accreditation on We Invest in Wellbeing is a fantastic effort for any organisation, and places the agency in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of wellbeing.”

A few of Jargon PR’s wellbeing and development initiatives include The Jargon PR Steps Challenge, £1,000 annual training budget for each team member, virtual afternoon tea breaks, and a no-meetings Friday policy.

“We are honoured and proud to be awarded this accreditation. We are always striving to create the best possible working environment for our team, and working with Investors in People to achieve the Silver standard for wellbeing has been a rewarding experience,” commented Simon Corbett, managing director at Jargon PR. “A happy, healthy and motivated PR team is fundamental to the success of Jargon PR and we are committed to continually improving the experience of our people.”
