James Cowper Kreston Foundation launched to support South East charities
The James Cowper Kreston Foundation has been launched to support charities in the South East.
Chartered accountants James Cowper Kreston, which is celebrating its centennial year, has established the body to help registered charities achieve their goals and to support local communities by awarding grant funding for charity projects.
The Foundation aims to provide financial support to registered charities across a broad range of sectors within the Berkshire, Hampshire, and Oxfordshire regions.
The first round of grant funding is running from January 31 to March 18 with applications being accepted through the website.
Most of the Foundation funds are obtained from donations from James Cowper Kreston, however the Foundation will also run its own fundraising activities throughout the year.
Phil Snell, chair of Trustees said: “The launch of the Foundation provides us with the opportunity to support and contribute to charities within our local areas. I am excited to be a part of an organisation that will provide support to a wide range and scope of projects, helping transform the lives of individuals and communities.
“James Cowper Kreston is passionate about charitable activities and provides corporate social responsibility days to staff as well as other fundraising activities and will be using the Foundation to formalise its years of charitable giving.”
