Innovative app start-up dubbed 'the AirBnB for work' set to launch next week
There are apps out there for hooking homeowners and holidaymakers up. Very successful apps. So why isn't there a solution for connecting people with excess office or workspace with those flexible workers looking for it?
Well, now there is. It's an app called 'Jarvo'. And it's about to launch.
On Jarvo, property owners may list their properties and let potential visitors rent them out for a single day, a single night, a single week, or a single month. All with no commitment. Meaning listers can make passive income from their space and users can book that space super conveniently.
As the only company out there offering a link to private residences as potential workspace, Jarvo is repurposing idle creative spaces into new workspaces that are free from interruptions and pesky commutes.
When people in Britain are experiencing the consequences of the cost of living issue in a post-pandemic workscape, the new portal will help users earn additional money by promoting their excess workspace as possible work-ready areas.
Jarvo founder Daniel Hillman explains his idea like this: “The traditional office space is dead, and while co-working spaces have opened up a world of collaboration, they also bring a host of challenges with them. They’re rigid, expensive and require lengthy commutes which people are just not prepared to do anymore."
