Holroyd Howe appoints new Managing Director

Reading-based independent school caterer Holroyd Howe has appointed Lucy Knowles as Managing Director. Starting the position in the new year, Knowles (pictured) succeeds Ronan Harte who was recently appointed as Chief Executive BaxterStorey, also part of WSH.

Lucy joins Holroyd Howe with 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. She has worked both in operations and marketing and has been responsible for creating many highly successful and globally recognised concepts.

For six years, she held the role of Group Marketing Director at SSP, the leading operator of food and beverage concessions in travel hubs across the world, where she led an agenda of brand, concept and menu innovation. Prior to this she held the role of Managing Director of wine bar company, Corney & Barrow, in the City of London.
