Synergix Logistics Solutions has moved into the fast lane after picking up a coveted national award from logistics specialists Fortec.

The firm presented Synergix Logistics from High Wycombe, with the Fortec New Member of the Year award at a virtual ceremony, held to celebrate independent hauliers and transport workers from around the Pall-Ex Group of companies.

The event offered Fortec and its members an opportunity to celebrate overcoming the difficulties faced by the logistics industry in 2020, while championing staff who have worked tirelessly as keyworkers throughout the coronavirus pandemic to keep essential supplies on the move.

It was also the first event held in partnership with parent company, Pall-Ex Group, which acquired Fortec in August 2020. The award winners were all selected due to their growth, compliance, quality distribution, communication and partnership with the network as a whole.

Kevin Buchanan, Pall-Ex Group CEO, comments: “We are proud to celebrate the work of Synergix Logistics with our Fortec New Member of the Year accolade, which underlines their dedication and hard work over the last 12 months. Their support has helped to maintain Fortec’s strong position within the sector during this turbulent time, our high standards of service and our commitment to our customers.

“Obviously we are disappointed that we cannot celebrate together in person, but we are grateful to have an opportunity to thank everyone and reward those who have gone above and beyond. Fortec celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2021 and we look forward to marking this milestone with our members and celebrating our collective achievements later this year alongside the entire Pall-Ex Group.”

Anthony Champness, co-owner and director at Synergix Logistics, comments: “We are extremely proud to have received this award. It recognises just how dedicated our team are to ensuring we give this brilliant network the best service possible”.
