High demand for small industrial units in Southampton area, says Keygrove
There is continuing demand for small industrial units in the Southampton area, according to commercial property-focused surveyors Keygrove.
The company reevaled it had completed several recent transactions showing the market for small business was "bouncing back" from a period of economic uncertainty.
Lettings completed include unit 23 at the Test Valley business centrein Nursling; unit 2 at Fernacre Business Park in Romsey; unit 6 at the Muira industrial estate in Northam, and unit 11 and unit 13 at Vancouver Wharf in Woolston.
Meanwhile, the freehold sales of unit 3, Radcliffe Court in Northam and Unit 9, Winchester Hill Business Park in Romsey have also completed recently, the firm noted.
"Now the new-build units at Winchester Hill Business Park are completed, demand has really accelerated, the units have been well received by the market," said Lauren Udall, director at Keygrove.
"With space ranging from 1528 – 2896 sq ft, all have ample car parking and provide small businesses with a fantastic opportunity to either lease or purchase their own business space.
"All remaining units comprise of a spacious warehouse and modern office space."
Three further units at Winchester Hill Business Park are under offer, along with Unit 4 City Commerce Centre and 14-15 Vancouver Wharf.
