Applications for the Chamber Business Awards 2020 have opened and businesses of all sizes and sectors from across Herefordshire and Worcestershire are encouraged to enter at least one of the 15 categories available for this year’s awards. Entrants have until 4.00pm on Friday 27 March to complete and submit their applications to be considered as a finalist.

The awards, sponsored by FOLK2FOLK, are a main highlight in the business calendar and celebrate the achievements of the local business community. With around 680 attendees, the Awards are free to enter for Members and Non-members and the opportunities that come alongside entering and winning an award are invaluable. This year, the awards ceremony will once again take place at the Worcester Arena on Thursday 2 July and is set to be another glittering event.

The Chamber is delighted to announce the addition of two brand new categories for the 2020 awards; Commitment to the Community, sponsored by Sanctuary Group and Excellence in Sustainability, sponsored by Business Energy Efficiency Programme.

All winners of the Chamber Business Awards will be automatically entered into the Business of the Year Award, sponsored by FOLK2FOLK. This award will crown the winner of winners for 2020 at the black-tie ceremony in July.

All Member entries will then be entered into the regional awards and if successful, see their company nominated for an award on the national stage at the British Chambers of Commerce’s (BCC) Business Awards.

The 2019 edition of the British Chambers of Commerce Awards saw eight businesses representing the two counties on the national stage including ArrangeMy, Bishop Fleming, DRPG, Environmental Management Solutions, Indra Renewable Technologies Ltd, Level Peaks Associates, Malvern Panalytical Limited and OLPRO.

Bishop Fleming was awarded with the Workplace Wellbeing Award along with being named Business of the Year 2019 - the leading award of the evening.
