Henley-based HMT, led by partner Paul Read and manager Antonia Fernandez, has undertaken financial and tax due diligence for Encore Capital on its investment of £2.5 million in Hive Online.
Hive, established in 2005, is a provider of unique code on-pack printing promotional services to FMCG companies. The company provides a patent-pending, end-to-end platform which uses unique codes to verify that a consumer has purchased the product, enabling FMCG brands to measure the effectiveness of their promotional campaigns and customer loyalty.
Hive has won 34 COGS awards, five of them in 2015, including the prestigious the Gold COGS for online and loyalty programmes.
Rajesh Shah, partner at Encore Capital, commented: “HMT did a great job at understanding the business and providing us with the high quality financial advice we required.”
Read said: “We are delighted to have advised Encore on its investment in such a dynamic company.”
