Henley-on-Thames: HMT advises on disposal of The Green Board Game Company

Henley-based HMT LLP has advised the shareholders of High Wycombe-based The Green Board Game Company (Green Board Game Co) on its disposal to Searainbow Group.

Established in 1991, Green Board Game Co invents and produces environmentally-friendly games for families and groups to learn and play together. Products include the best-selling BrainBox range; educational card games for children; Name 5 and many other educational games and books for children. It supplies schools, colleges, government bodies and families.

HMT tax director Holly Bedford led the deal, providing tax advice to the shareholders of Green Board Game Co during the transaction.

Gary Wyatt, founder of Green Board Game Co, commented: “It was a pleasure working with Holly and the team at HMT. Having founded and built Green Board Games over a 23-year period, it was reassuring to have someone as capable and knowledgeable as Holly guide me through the process.”

Bedford commented: “It was a great pleasure working with Gary on the disposal of his company, particularly as its products are so well known to families with young children. I wish him well for his future projects.”
