Details have been unveiled for a brand new performance car event in August hosted by Hendy Performance at Thruxton Race Circuit in Hampshire.
The event is free and promises to be the perfect opportunity for car fans to meet up, show off their cars, admire a wide range of vehicles and talk to other owners in a covid-safe environment.
There will be a mix of heritage vehicles on display together with the very latest performance cars from a wide range of manufactures, modified vehicles, special guests and live music together with trade stands.
“We’re thrilled we can finally confirm details of the Hendy Performance Open Day which will be held on Sunday, August 8,” said Hendy Performance manager John Haylett. “This is set to be a mini motor show with cars of all eras and a great day out for performance car owners and enthusiasts.”
Confirmed guests include Hendy Performance ambassador Tiff Needell together with British F4 racing driver James Hedley and BTCC driver Árón Taylor-Smith.
Cars already confirmed include the only Nissan 350z Nismo in the UK, a ŠKODA Bonneville, the very latest models from Lotus and vehicles from MOKE and Toyota.
“Our open days are always extremely popular and we are thrilled that by joining forces with Thruxton Race Circuit we can make it happen this year,” said Haylett. “The location means we can welcome car owners and enthusiasts in a safe, controlled environment.”
Tickets for the event are free but must be registered in advance. There are tickets for display cars and normal parking and these are available at www.hpopenday.co.uk
