Hazlewoods advises on sale of Budwood to leading children’s service provider

Cheltenham based accountants Hazlewoods has advised on the sale of Budwood Limited to a leading children’s services provider. 

Budwood caters for young people ranging from 12-18 years old and aims to provide them with a stable home where they receive high levels of support and guidance.

It has provides accommodation for young people with complex needs. Currently Budwood has seven homes in Dorset and Hampshire.

Rob Plumb, Hazlewoods Director, said of the sale: “Budwood is a high-quality group, well placed to embrace the incoming regulation in the 16+ area of the children’s services market. 

“We were very pleased to have been given the opportunity to work with the vendors in taking Budwood to market and were able to successfully identify a new owner who will maintain the fantastic reputation that Rachel and Sophie have built on the south coast. 

“The 16+ space of the children’s services market is expected to see a flurry of activity over the next year and new regulation will likely see high-quality providers become very attractive opportunities for investment.”
