Stockbridge-based SB Joinery, a family-run firm producing bespoke timber joinery from windows to wardrobes, doors to staircases, will now need a bigger trophy cabinet, having gained two Solent Business Awards (last night October 19).

The care taken in the craftsmanship of its quality timber products for customers is obviously matched internally through a focus on investment in its company culture, people and technology since SB Joinery won the Best Company to Work For and Management Team of the Year awards at the gala awards evening at the Hilton at the Ageas Bowl.

As is traditional, one ‘winner’ on the night was well publicised in advance – the Solent Business Awards chosen charity, Naomi House & Jacksplace.  Publicity of the charity, which supports children and young adults with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, engendered generosity from the guests who donated ‘special awards’ totaling £2,217.81.
