Hampshire Business Show

The Hampshire Business Show is returning to the Ageas Bowl in Southampton on Thursday, October 19.

The show, which is the largest business expo in the Hampshire region brings together hundreds of businesses and professionals from across the region.

It aims to drive business into the region, boosting the local economy and supporting Hampshire-based businesses.

More than 1,000 attendees are set to come along on the day, with 100 organisations exhibiting, giving business owners and professionals of all backgrounds the opportunity to connect, collaborate and win new business.

The show will be split across two floors, spanning six zones across the two floors – two seminar zones and the keynote stage.

The event, which is sponsored by workplace coffee and vending expert Lavazza Professional UK – the event’s biggest sponsor yet - has had a star-studded speaker line-up in previous years, with the UK’s number-one motivational speaker Brad Burton and entrepreneur and TV personality Baroness Karren Brady giving talks on the keynote stage.

This year however, the event founders decided to focus their efforts on local inspiration – meaning business owners from the area will be sharing their expertise across a range of topics and industries.

Event Director Josh Mitchell said: ‘It’s my favourite time of year when the show rolls around and this year promises to be another great event. We’ve helped facilitate introductions which have led to hundreds of thousands of pounds passing between businesses who attend.

This year, the event’s charity partner is Southampton-based charity, Safe New Futures, an organisation that offers mental health and wellbeing interventions, allowing individuals to move past barriers in their professional and personal lives.

Josh said: ‘We chose the charity and thought it would be really fitting because a lot of people struggle with their mental health and it can affect people in and out of work. Safe New Futures supports people to enable them to overcome those challenges and progress in every way.’
