Hampshire broadband firm Onestream to treble its workforce following office move
Hampshire-based broadband providers Onestream plan to create a further 80 jobs – effectively trebling the size of its workforce – in the next twelve months. In order to accommodate the expansion, the business has moved to brand new premises not far from its its original office.
Founded in 2016 as part of the Onecom Group, Onestream now stands independently, doing so as one of the UK’s fastest-growing residential internet service providers. Affiliated to comparison sites including USwitch, MoneySuperMarket, Compare the Market, Confused.com and Go Compare, the company sees an average of 3,000 customers every month sign up for its entirely unlimited services.
The organisation moves from its old 3,000 sq. ft. premises at Parkway, Solent Business Park, to a site double in size over at Solent Way. Focusing on new sales and customer service roles, Onstream hopes to increase its staff numbers from 40, where it currently is, to 120 people. All by June 2023.
Onestream's CEO Aaron Brown said this about the move: “At Onestream we’re proud to offer the UK’s widest reach with unrivalled capability to provide high-speed, reliable internet to millions of homes in every corner of the UK. We can only achieve thanks to the outstanding service provided by our teams, and as we embark on an exciting period of growth, this office move gives us the space we need to significantly extend the Onestream team."
“The new premises fits perfectly with our commitment to providing a great place to work for our teams, who in turn deliver superb service to our customers. We are looking forward to a bright future for existing staff and for those who join us in the year to come.”
