The Dorset-based British regional brewery Hall & Woodhouse are now offering their carefully tailored pub walks for guests, Woodhouse Walks.

Launched in partnership with Tess of the Vale, a website that explores the different mapped- routes of Dorset’s countryside and landscape.

The Hall & Woodhouse website states that Tess of the Vale’s maps have been ‘expertly developed’ and designed for each Woodhouse walk.

These unique routes will take guests and explorers to numerous historical locations, with the three initial circular walks starting at the Duchess of Cornwall in Poundbury, the Lulworth Cove Inn in West Lulworth, and The Smuggler’s Inn in Osmington.

Founder of Tess of the Vale, Catherine Speakman, said: “So many areas of Dorset are rich with remnants of past generations that have either been forgotten and overtaken with nature.

“From ruins to earthworks, castles to country houses, every corner, every tree and bump in the ground has a story. Each tale of smugglers’ jaunts and hidden treasure further enrich the excursion and guarantee to add to the memory of every adventure.”

Company Relationships Manager at Hall & Woodhouse, Lucinda Gray, said: “It is really exciting to be able to launch our Woodhouse Walks in partnership with Tess of the Vale, as who doesn’t want to enjoy a walk which starts and finishes with a fantastic pub!

“Hall & Woodhouse is a company deeply rooted in Dorset and Catherine’s walks complement this beautifully while offering walks that visitors might not otherwise know to explore.

The walks have been designed to last all year round and guests are able to enjoy a drink and pub meal at each stop at the end of each one.

Hall & Woodhouse stated on their website that there will be a downloadable PDF file of the Woodhouse Walks route on their page and printed leaflets can be picked up on-site.
