Arrow Business Communications has obtained strategic investment from Growth Capital Partners (GCP), the independent private-equity company which invests in growing UK SMEs. The investment will allow Arrow to fast-track growth of its hosted, data and IT services portfolio, and to secure future acquisitions. Arrow and GCP will work in partnership with both parties holding a 50% shareholding in the business.
Arrow will continue to be led by Chris Russell and the current management team, and will still operate from the same five locations. It has already completed seven acquisitions in the past six years, and this has seen the business nearly treble in size and successfully transform from its mobile roots to a much broader-based business-communications supplier.
Chris Russell, CEO of Arrow, commented: “I am delighted that GCP has become a major investor in our business. We knew it was the partner for us from the moment we met.”
Richard Shaw, investment director at GCP, commented: “With a market position supported by exceptional levels of service differentiation and a proven buy-and-build track record, Arrow is ideally placed to benefit from continued business-communication convergence.”
