Faass is based in Germany and joins the company with 20 years’ experience in the medical devices sector.  He will be responsible for overseeing and developing sales in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Thompson is BOFA’s new business development manager focused on the electronics sector. He joins the company’s head office in Poole with wide-ranging experience across a number of industries, including heating/refrigeration, LED lighting and communications. He will be working with BOFA’s existing customer base and developing new opportunities.

BOFA managing director, Tony Lockwood commented: “I am delighted to welcome Torsten and David to the BOFA family as we seek to build on the excellent performance of the company in 2017. We see great opportunities for our technology around the world in the year ahead as awareness grows about the value of our systems, not just in keeping people safe in the workplace but in improving productivity. These appointments will help us to achieve our objectives in what promises to be another positive year for BOFA.”

BOFA celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2017, received the Queen’s Award for Innovation, strengthened its senior management team and revealed plans for the world’s most advanced industrial fume and dust research and development centre.

The company also opened a new office in Germany, added a business development function in Poland, bolstered the sales team for its US operation, BOFA Americas, and announced an expansion of its UK footprint.
