Gallery: Hampshire Business Awards drinks reception brings together the county’s leading lights
Around 180 of the Hampshire business community’s best and brightest met recently for the Hampshire Business Awards finalists’ drinks reception.
Held at Lainston House near Winchester, the event offered finalists, sponsors and judges the chance to meet in a more relatively informal setting ahead of the main event on 30th November.
In attendance were independent judges and representatives from partners and sponsors Farnborough Airport, Gulfstream, Utilita, Association of British Ports, Herrington Carmichael, Milestone Infrastructure, Gurkha Security Services, Menzies, Barratt and David Wilson Homes Southampton, FatFace, Infinigate Cloud, Sightline and Hampshire Biz News.
Joining them were representatives from The Business Magazine and Hampshire County Council, who partnered to organise the awards.
Sparkling wines for the evening were contributed by Quob Park Estate, Hotel & Spa and were served alongside canopies and other beverages.
In a speech welcoming attendees Richard Thompson, CEO of The Business Magazine Group, said: I’d just like to welcome everyone here to our small – or actually rather large – gathering to celebrate all the finalists for this year’s Hampshire Business Awards.
“The sheer number and quality of nominations this year was amazing and we felt it important to congratulate those that have made it as finalists in their own right.
“Tonight really has 2 purposes, firstly to congratulate all of you the finalists, and secondly, for you to meet each other. We literally have some of the best companies in Hampshire in this room tonight.
“I’d like to take an opportunity to thank our sponsors and partners for this evening without which the Hampshire Business Awards would not be possible, and of course the amazing team at Hampshire County Council ably led by Cllrs Rob Humby and Roz Chadd, who have been absolutely amazing in their support of this project.”
The Hampshire Business Awards will be held at Farnborough International Conference and Exhibition Centre on 30th November, and will be supporting two charities: The Murray Parish Trust and Ringwood Veterans Hub.
