Sherbet Donkey Media, one of the Midlands’ largest digital marketing agencies, has announced exciting plans to expand its team and triple its client base, as it heads towards its second year in business.

Based in Bromsgrove’s Harris Business Park in Worcestershire, Sherbet Donkey Media specialises in website design and development, branding, and SEO, serving clients across the UK. Following a standout year in 2022, the ambitious agency shows no signs of slowing down.

Launched in June 2021, Sherbet Donkey has grown from just three members of staff to a team of 36 SEO, design, development, and content specialists. In January alone, the agency has welcomed a further four new starters across its content, PR, and business development departments.

The latest recruits follow notable additions to the agency’s leadership team, including Operations Director Andy Herbert, and Kate Farrell, who joined the team as Head of Design at the end of a successful 2022.

“I’ve joined Sherbet at a truly exciting time for the business. This is an organisation that’s taken huge leaps and has achieved incredible results in less than two years," said Andy.

There’s a lot of work going on in the background at Sherbet Donkey – the leadership team has dedicated itself to implementing new benefits for our staff, improving our processes, and redefining our own offering, and these positive moves will continue throughout 2023. I’m excited to be part of the team and part of the next phase of Sherbet Donkey’s growth.”

Kate added: “Having worked with Sherbet Donkey as a freelance designer for several months, I was delighted to join the agency full time in December, with the sole focus of enhancing our bespoke web design services.

"Sherbet Donkey is already a leader in the digital marketing space, and my goal is to add even more experience to the agency’s talented design team and enhance our design processes to produce innovative work for our clients.”

Despite this influx of new starters, the agency is still recruiting at its Worcestershire headquarters.

Sherbet Donkey plans to expand to 45 members of staff within the next 8 months, to support its growing roster of industry-leading clients in the Midlands and around the country.

Loki Hinton-Bowen, Co-Founder of Sherbet Donkey Media, says, “We’ve already surpassed so many milestones in just 18 months, achieving what other agencies take years to achieve. But there’s still much more to come. The next year will be focused on growing our team, expanding our client base, delivering even more exceptional results, and competing with agencies twice our size – or more.”

The agency, which will mark its second birthday in June, plans to surpass £3 million in SEO clients before the end of the year.

“We’re ambitious, we love what we do, and it shows. In an ever-evolving, extremely competitive industry, Sherbet Donkey is making its mark.”
