National law firm Freeths has advised on the sale of Bristol-based Microwave Amps to ScandiNova Systems - a world leader in high-end pulsed power systems used in the radiotherapy, medicine and research sectors.
Microwave Amps, based in Bedminster, produces advanced Radio Frequency (RF) amplifiers used in various applications and the deal will see the companies targeting similar segments to benefit customers with a stronger combined portfolio.
Microwave Amps will continue to operate under the leadership of its managing director and founder Neil Richardson.

The Freeths team was led by corporate partners Emily Settle and Lottie Hugo, supported by managing associate Ed Chapman, associate Charlotte Collard and trainee solicitor Ellie Harrison.
