A free business expo is taking place tomorrow (October 11) at The Hilton in Bournemouth and exhibitors from over 70 stands will include those from the artificial intelligence (AI), hospitality and energy sectors.

The expo is part of the four day Dorset Chamber’s Dorset Business Festival, which also features the newly returned ‘Dorset Business Awards’ as well as a first-of-its-kind conference called: 'The Future of Business'.

Organisers say the event offers a great opportunity to build connections and discover new services and tools.

"This is the biggest business week in the Chamber’s history," said Ian Girling, chief executive of the Chamber.

"And the expo element is completely free and we hope many people come along and take advantage of all the opportunities, including networking."

He added: "We have a superb venue at the Hilton and our conference has some magnificent speakers.

"As a Chamber we want to see the county’s businesses booming and this festival is aimed at helping them do just that."

Speakers include David Smith, the economics editor of the Sunday Times and the paper’s chief leader-writer, assistant editor and policy adviser.

The festival will also have five panel discussions with thought-leaders and big business names.

These panels will be hosted by LBC’s business commentator Declan Curry, who has been a journalist and broadcaster for more than 30 years.

The expo takes place between 9am and 12 noon and people can book via the Chamber’s website or through Eventbrite.

The event is supported by premier festival partner, Lester Aldridge along with Blue Sky Financial Planning, Bournemouth and Poole College, Dorset Council, The Dolphin and YMCA Bournemouth.
