Five of the best SMEs in the South East for employee wellbeing
Great Place To Work published a report detailing the companies with the best employee wellbeing in the South East.
UK-based Business management consultant Great Place To Work recently released a Wellbeing Now report outlining the best enterprises in the UK for employee wellbeing.
Five of the small and medium sized companies, with between 20 to 250 employees, are headquartered in the South East with offices spread across the region.
The report found that employee health and wellbeing was the single biggest HR priority for Best Workplaces™ in 2020 and 2021.
It also took other factors into account, such as diversity, equity, inclusion, management and leadership, reward and financial security and integrating wellbeing into company culture.
The following are the best ranked SMEs in the South East:
Word Monster
“We’re medical writers who Write With Bite”
Warfield-based marketing agency Word Monster specialises in healthcare advertising and medical communications support.
The company has a team of senior, experienced writers, editors and referencers at hand who work remotely from all over the world.
They also support their clients with brand positioning, campaign generation, competitor awareness and tactic brainstorming, as well as creating adverts, video scripts, e-detail aids and patient leaflets.
Word Monster ranked No. 11 in the Small Category.

Brighton-based internet marketing service company Propellernet specialise in delivering hands-on marketing and strategic consultancy around their client’s business challenges and opportunities.
The company’s extensive client list includes Puregym, Kuoni, Evans Cycles, Celebrity Cruises, Bravissimo, Forest Holidays and McArthurGlen.
Propellernet was ranked No. 21 in the Small Category.
Wild Nutrition Ltd

Vitamins and supplements company Wild Nutrition is based in East Sussex specialising in making natural, Food-Grown® supplements.
The company’s founder, Henrietta Norton BSc Dip NT, is a nutritional practitioner with an aim to disrupt the wellness industry “for the better”.

Tanium ranked No. 3 in the Medium Category.
