Coach travel firm Lucketts Group has been shortlisted for a prestigious award after showing industry judges how it has been exceeding customer expectations for 91 years.
The company has been shortlisted in the hotly-contested Coach Tour Operator – Large Fleet category at the British Coach Tourism Awards. Just four other coach operators across the country have been shortlisted, with this year seeing a record-breaking number of entries.
It’s the latest in a long line of accolades for Lucketts, which has around 130 vehicles in its fleet and holds a swathe of coveted industry accreditations, including the CPT’s CoachMarque.
Tony Lawman, managing director, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be shortlisted for such a prestigious award. For us, seeing satisfied customers and happy staff is reward enough for what we do so this really is an added boost. It’s certainly a brilliant start to what’s set to be an exciting year for Lucketts.”
The British Coach Tourism Awards take place every year and recognise excellence and developments from coach tour operators, destinations, visitor attractions and tourism suppliers. Lucketts will find out if it has won at a glittering awards ceremony held at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham on March 22.
