Harris Cartier, a commercial law specialist with strong links in Europe is hosting a free seminar aimed at growing businesses who
wish to expand operations in Europe.
The seminar, Growing Your Business in Europe, will take place on Friday November 14 at Eton College Rowing Centre, Dorney Lake, Windsor from 8.30am until 3.30pm.
The purpose of the seminar is to equip businesses with solid information about the benefits and pitfalls of International trade. There is a strong line-up of speakers offering advice about European law, government assistance, finance and property.
Stephen Fuller, senior corporate law partner at Harris Cartier, is also chairman of the International Business Group of Eurojuris International, the leading network of law firms in Europe. He, along with other members of the International Business Group, will offer legal advice about expanding into Europe such as how to structure a business, how European law may apply to the
sale and ownership of goods and services and how to set up effective business premises and partnerships.
Information about government assistance for European trade will also be available from Angus Murray, an International Trade adviser for UK Trade & Investment. Murray has 10 years hands-on experience of European Sales, as an International Sales Manager with responsibility for developing the markets of Europe and the Americas.
John Casey, chief operating officer for Europe at HSBC, will examine some of the financial implications of European trade and Neil Impiazzi, inward investment manager at SEGRO, will provide advice on finding the right European business premises.
Paul Norris, chief executive of Harris Cartier and President Elect of Eurojuris, commented: "Delegates will leave the seminar far better equipped to overcome some of the hurdles commonly associated with International trade. They will meet like-minded people and gain knowledge of where to look for professional support in Europe."
