Embridge Consulting founder scoops 'Entrepreneur of the Year' at Growing Business Awards
Emma O'Brien, who founded Kent-based business transformation consultant Embridge Consulting in 2009, was named 'Entrepreneur of the Year’ at this year's Growing Business award - the biggest individual accolade.
The awards ceremony, now in its 26th year, celebrate the strength, vision and resilience of fast-growing SMEs, while O'Brien's accolade celebrates long-standing, established entrepreneurs.
"I am absolutely honoured to be recognised with such a prestigious award, particularly in this category," said O'Brien.
"I still pinch myself when I am referred to as being ‘an entrepreneur’! I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to get to do what I do
"None of this would be possible without the support of my fantastic team, who keep me motivated and in business with purpose every day."
O'Brien was recognised for her "outstanding personal ambition and vision" at the ceremony at Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square, London on November 29.
Embridge has seen sustained growth and has delivered 25 new digital change projects and secured eight new managed service clients, including, Surrey County Council and Islamic Relief over the last 12 months.
The Gravesham-headquartered company helps organisations to transform their business operations by empowering people, processes and technology.
