Elly Tomlins joins Britvic
British soft drinks company Britvic welcomed Elly Tomlins as its new chief people officer on 1 February.
Based in Hemel Hempstead, Britvic operates in more than 100 countries around the world, owning leading brands that become household names.
Britvic’s most renowned brands include Robinsons, Fruitshoot, Gatorade, J2O, Purdeys, Mountain Dew and many other brands you may easily recognise.
Elly Tomlins joins the company from Tate & Lyle plc, a British-headquartered, global supplier of food and beverage ingredients, where she was Vice President of Culture & People Strategy and has joined Britvic’s executive committee.

Tomlins joins the company with a considerable amount of experience in multiple industries. On top of her roles at Tate and Lyle, she took on key Human Resources and people roles in the hospitality sector, with hotel and restaurant company Whitbread plc, and data-led technology, with Thompson Reuters.
The role of Chief People Officer entails being responsible for driving Britvic’s People and Culture strategy globally. Tomlins will be able to utilise her expertise and develop engaging and progressive talent strategies while carrying out other tasks.
Britvic says this transformation of their culture will prove invaluable as the company will continue to build a “dynamic and highly connected culture of belonging, wellbeing, growth, and development”.
