Surrey-based ICB Group has merged with its Manchester-based sister company Finch Insurance Brokers and Employee Benefits to form Verlingue, rebranding under the name of their French parent company.

The new business will create a top 15 independent commercial insurance broker and employee benefits consultancy. It will continue to operate out of its existing offices at Egham, Redhill, London and Manchester, and will be headed up by current CEOs Neil Campling and Mike Latham.

Director - corporate & risk management Richard Bevins commented: “Our merger and rebrand is excellent news for our clients and business partners as it further enhances our range of business solutions and our competitive position in the market.

"We are looking forward to helping businesses in the Thames Valley with specialist insurance and Employee Benefits advice, and to launching our new brand through our sponsorship of the 2020 Thames Valley Tech Awards.”

In a joint statement, Neil Campling and Mike Latham commented: “The launch of the Verlingue brand in the UK market marks a significant milestone for our UK business, our clients and our colleagues. It also supports the Verlingue Group’s ambitious growth plans both in the UK and in Europe.”

Verlingue is sponsoring the High Growth Tech Business in the Thames Valley Tech Awards, which takes place on September 24 at the Madejski Stadium, Reading.
