Double award win for Fareham’s Briscoe PR
Fareham-based Briscoe PR has won two awards at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ annual Pride awards.
The accolades consist of a gold and a silver award. In the ‘Best Event’ category, Briscoe picked up gold for its promotional work on Hampshire Street Food Awards’ “Big Eat” festival.
Briscoe PR Managing Director Kevin Briscoe said: “It feels fantastic to be recognised for the work we do and what we can achieve as an agency. In both of these campaigns we succeeded in significantly exceeding our clients’ expectations and ensuring that both of these significant events were incredibly successful.”
This event saw 8,000 people in attendance at Royal Victoria Country Park to recognise street food vendors. Briscoe was awarded for running the social media campaign and attracting media coverage prior to the event.

“Big Eat” founder Jeremy Gaskin said: “Briscoe PR directly contributed to the success of the ‘Big Eat’ by providing great social media engagement and media coverage in advance of the event. I am so glad the CIPR recognised this dedication with the award.”
Briscoe’s silver award came in the ‘Low Budget Campaign’ category for its work on Healthy Pet Store’s “Doggy Tea Party” – a Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebration hosted at its Totton store.
Managing Director of Healthy Pet Store, Deborah Burrows said: “Thank you so much Briscoe PR for your enthusiasm and commitment to making the 'Doggy Tea party' such a success. Brilliant social media management and media coverage on the day meant the event was a great triumph".
