Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), an expanding business-support organisation, has strengthened its board with three high-calibre appointments: Phil Popham, Warren Munson and Emma Hunt.
Popham is chief executive of Sunseeker International, a platinum business partner of DCCI with a major manufacturing base at Osprey Quay on Portland.
Munson is managing director of Inspire Professional Services, an award-winning accountants and business advisory firm which he founded in 2004 with a focus on entrepreneurs and which now supports more than 500 clients.
Hunt has been deputy vice-chancellor at Arts University Bournemouth since July 2013.
The three join the 12-member board as non-executive directors.
Ian Girling, DCCI chief executive, said: “Our three new members bring huge experience and expertise to an already extremely strong DCCI board. Their appointment represents another milestone for DCCI as it continues to help businesses drive the local economy and give Dorset an ever more powerful and influential voice at a higher level.”
DCCI has 800 members which collectively employ more than 37,000 people.
