Crowe flies in Thames Valley corporate sector

National audit, tax, advisory and risk firm Crowe is expanding its Thames Valley corporate team and using its industry-leading approach to offer clients outstanding service.

The Thames Valley corporate team was bolstered this summer with the appointment of new partner, Christine Dobson, who joined from a Big Four firm. During her 25-year career, mainly based in Reading, she has specialised in advising and auditing start-ups, owner-managed businesses and private equity backed companies.

Dobson said: “I felt my passion for supporting privately-owned and private equity-backed businesses would be fulfilled with Crowe.”

Christine cares passionately about helping her clients to achieve their business aims and delivers excellent client service. Christine’s experience will complement our existing specialist private equity partner team of Bob Alsop, partner, corporate finance, and Jane Mackay, head of tax, who together will ensure our clients receive relevant and timely advice and will support them in all service aspects as they grow to achieve their ambitions.”

Crowe expects its work with corporate clients will continue to increase, especially during this time of political and economic uncertainty. “Key issues for corporate clients in the foreseeable future centre on dealing with potential supply chain disruption and initiatives that encourage skilled staff to stay on, such as share option schemes,” said Dobson.
