Cox Marine expands Senior leadership team with new COO

Marine diesel outboard engine manufacturer, Cox Marine (Powertrain), has expanded its senior leadership team with the appointment of new Chief Operating Officer, Gavin Wesson.

Wesson is joining the Shoreham-based team with over 20 years experience, most recently positioned as COO of Civil Airframe at GKN Aerospace. His familiarity with the manufacturing and engineering sector and operations will be put to use to developing a world-class operations and supply chain and guiding the business for the future. He will also be responsible for Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing and Logistics. 

Gavin Wesson "has extensive experience in engineering and a strong track record as a successful leader at both small entrepreneurial businesses and large multinational matrix-based organisations. Cox Powertrain is making good progress and we will be working closely together to enhance further our processes in order to deliver on our long-term strategy”, commented CEO of Cox Powertrain, Tim Routsis.
