Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber all set for this week's annual conference

There is less than one week to go to the biggest economic conference in Coventry and Warwickshire – with more than 250 delegates expected to attend.

Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce is holding its Annual Business & Economic Conference at the Coventry Building Society Arena this Friday, November 10, and it will draw together key figures from business and regional decision-makers.

The conference has a theme of ‘Doing Business with Purpose’ and will hear from West Midlands mayor Andy Street as well as Monica Fogarty, chief executive of Warwickshire County Council, and Julie Nugent, chief executive of Coventry City Council.

There are also two panel sessions that will look at key issues affecting firms across the city and the county, and, on top of all of that, multi-award-winning broadcaster Clive Myrie will be the keynote speaker at the event.

The conference is being delivered in partnership with PET-Xi Training and Prime Accountants Group. PLMR Advent is the media partner and Eskuta and Make Venues (Woodland Grange) have signed up as supporting sponsors.

And, as well as plenty of opportunity for business networking throughout the event, the conference sponsors will also be exhibiting in the coffee area for the chance to meet many of the delegates on the day.

They will be joined by a range of Chamber partners who will also be exhibiting, including Aston University – Centre for Growth, West Midlands Trains, Destination Coventry, Transformation Space, WCG and Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce Training.

Corin Crane, chief executive of Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, urged businesses that hadn’t booked on to secure their place this week.
