SLG Brand's Rhyme & Reason Eco Haircare brand has been voted Best Breakthrough Hair Brand by the Glamour Beauty Power List Awards.

The brand has been acknowledged for its breakthrough packaging which brings no new plastic to market with its 100 per cent PCR Bottle and CAP. (PCR is recycled plastic made from discarded items such as plastic milk and drinks bottles. Post-consumer resin (PCR) is an environmentally sustainable solution for reusing single-use materials that would otherwise be disposed of in landfill sites.)

The company has also designed its bottle shape too, investing heavily in bespoke tooling to minimise plastic use and to optimise transit packing efficiency, with its bottles fitting tightly together to minimise the shipping of “air”. There is a thin wad in one tub product made from virgin plastic which, whilst unavoidable at this time, will be re-specified to recycled plastic as soon as possible, 'fesses up the company.

Glamour magazine described Rhyme & Reason as "This new kid on the hair block has clearly not gone unnoticed. The range is inclusive when it comes to hair types and hair concerns, it’s vegan friendly, made in the UK and has a 100 per cent recycled bottle and cap." and

Global retail partners Target, Boots UK, Tesco,and Sainsbury's are supporting the brand.
