Cheltenham-based PinPoint Media has expanded its team of marketing experts and offering with the acquisition of specialist direct-to-consumer (DTC) paid media and creative agency NOVA+.

NOVA+ was co-founded in 2020 by Anton Gabb, who spotted a gap in the market for an agency that caters to startup DTC brands. Its mission is to guide brands from initial stages to scaling and beyond.

"This acquisition is an important addition to PinPoint’s global team of marketing experts," said Oliver Bruce, the CEO and founder of PinPoint Media.

"It will allow us to further expand our direct-to-consumer performance offering as well as enable NOVA’s current and future client base access to PinPoint Media’s wider creative and strategic campaign resources."

Gabb added: "We're thrilled to announce our strategic partnership with PinPoint Media.

"As content takes centre stage in paid media campaigns, this collaboration equips NOVA+ and our clients with an exceptional team of strategists and creatives as well as access to OOH resource for our clients.

"We're excited to watch NOVA+ thrive even further with the support of PinPoint Media."

NOVA+ clients already include Nyetimber, OTO Wellbeing, Blank Street, Dry Drinker, Planthood, Knoops, and Spacemade.

With a team across the UK and South Africa, NOVA+ has boosted sales for brands and in-platform revenue, such as drydrinker.com by 31%, and Elizabeth Scarlett, increasing conversions by 130% over six months.

Meanwhile, PinPoint Media said it had seen significant growth of late due in part to the demand for hyper-personalised, performance-driven content delivered across social platforms and marketing campaigns.

This acquisition will see it open a new Shoreditch office in London in January, 2024, alongside an increased presence and staffing in both Cape Town, South Africa and Manchester, UK.
