Business support webinars helping Worcestershire open for business
Free webinars for Worcestershire businesses are being run to help them get through the Covid-19 pandemic.
The sessions are being organised by Worcestershire Business Central (WBC). So far, WBC has run 10 business support webinars with 105 Worcestershire businesses in attendance.
This comes as Worcestershire County Council has just launched a new programme in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Here 2 Help Business is designed to support local businesses to recover, adapt and develop as they begin to reopen. The programme which was launched last week and will provide financial support and consultancy advice to help kickstart the local economy.
Councillor Ken Pollock, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Economy and Infrastructure said: “It is so important to support local business, especially now as we are in the recovery phase of the Coronavirus pandemic. “Worcestershire Business Central’s support webinars are providing a fantastic service to Worcestershire businesses in advising them how to navigate through these unprecedented times.”
The next, “Working Safely During Coronavirus: Close Contact Services” will be held between 11am and 12pm on Tuesday 28th July.
Kerris Crook, Founder of Kerris Crook HR Consultancy, who has attended one of WBC’s webinars, said: “I have found the webinars provided by WBC to be a really useful source of information in helping me to develop my HR consultancy. “It is such an important time to embrace online marketing and the webinars provided fundamental support on a number of areas.”
