In May 2017, a brand-new magazine launched, published by NK Media Ltd. Business & Innovation Magazine’s remit is to deliver business news and information. Our readers are business people, the further and higher education sectors and business support organisations across Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire and North Wiltshire.
In just one year, and as we approach our anniversary issue, Business & Innovation Magazine has established itself so successfully in its first region that NK Media Ltd is now making plans for expansion into new regions.
The new Business & Innovation Magazine website, launched in March 2018, has been built with expansion in mind. Like the magazine, it covers regional business news, topics and sector updates, and national business news through a regional perspective
Importantly the magazine and website offer a unique resource for research. Every news story covered on the website will always be accessible through the magazine’s on-line archive. Those seeking to boost their knowledge of the regional business economy to gain new customers, clients or competitive advantage, can quickly gain a picture of the most important companies and business activities through the website.
There is a real need for impartial business reporting across all the UK’s regions. Increasingly we work in silos – of geography or industry sector, but success come from cross-fertilization of experience and ideas.
And with the uncertainties around Brexit, it’s more important than ever to give businesses opportunities to grow through providing a trusted platform to share news. They can also be sure that social media algorithms aren’t skewing the Business & Innovation Magazine audience to those with bigger marketing budgets. In print and online, Business & Innovation Magazine offers a level editorial playing field, where the most relevant news will get reported – wherever it comes from.
A business may not sell locally, but it’s where it will draw the majority of its employees, and where it will most cost effectively source suppliers. Exporting boosts British business, but why buy from supplier thousands of miles away when what you need can be sourced within a 50-mile radius, especially with the threat of import tariffs.
The magazine has a growing business to business, corporate and commercial readership, from small and medium-sized enterprises to the region’s largest business success stories. It supports entrepreneurial and ambitious young business people while showcasing local innovation, talent, expertise and new ideas. Business & Innovation Magazine helps strengthen a businesses’ networks and boost its regional business knowledge. It also helps attract skilled employees through sharing business news and provides an opportunity to participate in the regional economy.
At just one year old, Business & Innovation Magazine is attracting national attention and has become a success story in its own right.
