Amiri Construction, a regional building contractor, secures £9 million independent school project. The company has been appointed by Sherborne School to build an extension to the existing school sports centre.

The project is located at the school’s current site in Sherborne and is due to be completed in the Spring of 2023.

The Sherborne School said: “We are delighted to engage Amiri as our construction partners for our exciting project to expand and enhance the sports facilities at the School. This development will more than double the footprint of Sherborne’s existing sports centre, including a second larger sports hall, new, triple-sized, high performance and general fitness gyms, two new squash courts and full-length indoor cricket nets. This will improve opportunities for all boys and allow elite teams to train year-round, bringing significant performance enhancement for all. This will also allow us to expand public access to the sports facilities.”
