Bucks Skills Hub is launching a new website, which provides a one-stop shop for  career and skill needs, including support for career development and pathways and crucially at this time, redundancy support.

Heather Dean, Head of Skills and Business Support at Buckinghamshire Business First, said: "Bucks Skills Hub aims to give  all the information people need to make career choices easier, widen horizons and inspire. On our new website you will find detailed information relating to a huge number of career options together with the resources and job vacancies to galvanise you into action. Whether you need some help navigating a career change mid-life or you are fresh out of year 11 or at any point in-between – the Bucks Skills Hub website is here to give you the guidance and support you need.”

The new website focuses on fulfilling the needs of those trying to choose a career, those looking for a career change and educators, with an extensive range of resources and new improved functionality as well as a dynamic home page with latest news and social media feeds. The new website will be ever evolving and over time will provide even more information and resources.

Heather Dean added: “Whatever stage of your career you are at, even if you have recently had to face redundancy, the new Bucks Skills Hub website is here to help you embrace new job possibilities in key sectors across Buckinghamshire, support you with the latest skills, careers and redundancy advice and inform you about latest opportunities in Buckinghamshire with 1,000s of live jobs available!

The Bucks Skills Hub promotes and optimises links between the business community and education/training providers to enable young people and adults to gain valuable insight into career opportunities, and it help them develop the skills and qualifications they need to progress in the workplace at whatever stage of their career they are in.
