The Wormsley Estate, near Stokenchurch - once the home of Sir Paul Getty, who died in 2003 - is partnering with catering company Jamie Oliver’s Fabulous Feasts to open a new members’ club next month.
The 2,500-acre Getty family estate - home to the famous cricket ground and the acclaimed annual Garsington Opera - will house the new members’ club, with Oliver’s event catering arm offering private dinners and hospitality.
Members will also have access to sporting and cultural facilities, plus two houses of accommodation. These include the five-bedroom, 18th century Home Farm House, and the four-bedroom Garden Cottage, which has an indoor swimming pool next door.
Members will have the chance to play on the renowned cricket pitch with former international cricketers in six-a-side matches.
Features on the state include an 18th century walled garden, the Wormsley library, and the Island Pavilion, which opened in 2014 and houses the family’s collection of modern sculpture.
Corporate membership costs from £7,500 excl VAT per year and allows 18 clients to experience hospitality across four cricket days, including English teas, Pimm’s and three-course lunches, as well as the opportunity to play in a six-a-side match.
