Stoke Park and ACE Group annual pre-Wimbledon tennis event, The Boodles, has won the Best Hospitality Experience category at the Eventia Awards, held on November 28 at the Hilton, Park Lane.

Now in its 14th year, The Boodles offers guests world-class tennis and hospitality with a fun English-garden-party atmosphere in the intimate and beautiful surroundings of Stoke Park.  With a crowd of only 2,000 and no seat further than 10 metres from the court, guests are close to the action.

This year saw eight of the world’s top 20 male players select The Boodles as the ideal event for their Wimbledon preparations, including world number one Novak Djokovic, 2014 US Open champion Marin Cilic and world number eight Milos Raonic.

The Eventia Awards honour outstanding business-to-business and business-to-consumer events both overseas and in the UK, recognising professionally managed, produced and executed events and the companies that originate them.

This year The Boodles won the gold award for Best Hospitality Experience, with The Championships at Wimbledon taking silver. Previous winners include Chelsea FC and Keith Prowse.

"To win the Best Hospitality Experience is such an honour," commented Stoke Park general manager Giammario Ragnoli.  "It is always our aim to exceed our guests' expectations and we take great pride in delivering a world-class experience. To have The Boodles recognised by the industry and our peers, especially at the prestigious Eventia Awards, is phenomenal."

Patricio Apey, founder of The Boodles and CEO of ACE Group, commented: "We are absolutely delighted to win this award. From the beginning we always wanted to create a fabulous English summer garden party that happened to have great professional tennis in the lead up to Wimbledon. Each year The Boodles has managed to sell out faster than the year before and we are delighted to see it take an established place in the British summer season of events as well as the schedule of many top players."

The Boodles 2015 will take place from the June 23-27.
