Brittany Ferries sees numbers jump in its 50th year sailing
Brittany Ferries, which runs ferries to and from Portsmouth, Poole and Plymouth, has reported a significant year-on-year increase in its passengers as it celebrates 50 years on the seas.
The firm has seen an extra 125,000 passengers making reservations this year compared to the same period in 2022, working out as around a 20 per cent increase.
The France-based firm started out in 1973, with its first service delivering artichokes and cauliflowers between Brittany and France. It has since transported millions of people and business cargo across the Atlantic Arc.
