The Bath and Bristol region is home to 1.1 million and boasts four prestigious universities and over 46,000 businesses.

Invest Bristol & Bath is partnering with UK Cities & Partners (UKCAP) to bring a new UK Investment Pavilion to the show, which have previously shown demonstrable returns on the relationships built.

Bristol & Bath, along with London, Manchester, West Midlands and Newcastle is one of the first UK City Regions, which will be bringing with them a variety of oven-ready investment opportunities to showcase.

Richard Bonner, the chair of the West of England LEP, and Antony Merritt, head of enterprise, inward investment and trade at Invest Bristol & Bath, will represent the West of England at a number of panel discussions.

The private sector has also partnered with the UK delegation with supporters including Avison Young, Legal and General, and Aviva Investors with the support of the department for business and trade (DBT).

The panel discussions will focus on investment opportunities in the region’s enterprise zones and areas, particularly the life sciences sector, and the knowledge economy and innovation to regenerate city centres.
